The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Model 5500 Fiberglass Faced Carriage House Door is the ideal combination of a traditional carriage house look and modern performance. The design features monolithic plank sections and a 2-1/2″ total thickness, this garage door has a sturdy 27-gauge galvanized steel core that is decorated with a beaded vertical fiberglass face and woodgrain poly accent boards. The mixture of these materials gives the authentic wood texture but with the steel’s strength and stability. The homeowners are allowed to pick from timeless factory finishings such as white, almond, and sandstone that can go with any kind of house.

The interior of the door is also neat and clean looking as it is made of white polyester-coated steel. The door is equipped with a CFC-free polystyrene insulation, an R-value of 10.67 is achieved thus the door contributes significantly to energy saving and comfort of the house. The features of the Model 5500 that ensure its gentle performance on a hot summer or terrible winter day, great resistance to weather, and it smooths up functioning are the galvanized steel end caps and hinge plates, galvanized steel reinforcements, and tongue-and-groove joints.
